Rooted in the

1990

It began in the early 1990s, in a quiet coastal village surrounded by rice fields, Nyanyi. What started as a simple vision soon grew into a lifelong mission to build with purpose, respect the land, and create opportunities for people.

PT. Lembah Tanah Lot Permai was founded, marking the first step into agrotourism and hospitality. With government approval, we secured 90 hectares in Banjar Nyanyi, the land that would become the foundation of everything to come. Throughout the 1990s, the focus was not just on expansion but stewardship. Each hectare acquired was treated as a responsibility — to the environment, to the people of Nyanyi, and to the cultural integrity of Bali.

BITDEC became the foundation of our living ecosystem: where knowledge, purpose, and community converge.

In 2006, this commitment evolved into the Bali International Training & Development Centre (BITDEC) a 14-hectare campus dedicated to learning,…

BITDeC began to establish itself as a recognised hub for professional learning and events. During this period, the campus hosted numerous training programmes, workshops, and conferences, ranging from hospitality and tourism courses to corporate and medical training sessions. The facilities became a preferred venue for both local and international organisations, reflecting Dr.Ir. Frans Bambang Siswanto, MM vision of turning Nyanyi into a centre for education, collaboration, and personal growth.

2016

As BITDeC’s commitment to education deepened, it expanded its purpose beyond training and development.

In 2016, the Bali Culinary Pastry School (BCPS) was established, a vocational institution dedicated to shaping skilled culinary and pastry professionals through practical learning and international collaboration. The following year, in 2017, the vision grew further with the founding of Politeknik Internasional Bali (PIB), offering higher academic degrees in hospitality, tourism, and business bridging Balinese values with world-class education and leadership.

By 2019, Nyanyi Bali’s vision expanded beyond education into the world of gastronomy and craftsmanship.

This collaboration bridges global expertise and local creativity, creating a space where visitors can explore the journey of chocolate from bean to bar, experience immersive learning, and celebrate the artistry of Balinese culture.

In partnership with Valrhona® we developed Bali Chocolate Park, an education-focused agrotourism destination in Nyanyi celebrating chocolate, craft, and sustainability.
